Itinerary
Entry to Featherdale Wildlife Park and our exclusive Breakfast with Koalas
Our early exit from Sydney at 7:00-7:30am allows us to miss the rush hour traffic, and where we travel directly to Featherdale Wildlife Park to enjoy a special environment free of other tourists. Meet many Australian native animals including koalas, kangaroos, emus, wombats, dingos, reptiles, birdlife and more… We also get to enjoy our exclusive Breakfast with the Koalas here (BAT tour), where we enjoy a selection of fresh fruits, croissants, bread rolls, ham, cheese, juice, tea and coffee, while a park handler allows us to get up close and personal with a koala in our private dining area.
A complete loop of the Blue Mountains with remote stops in the Aussie Bush
We head on a complete loop of the Blue Mountains and leave the common tour behind, as most of them drive up the freeway. We'll climb up the Bells Line of Road to us to see more of the remote parts of the National Park, stopping for world class views that will afford memories of a lifetime at a variety of lookouts, while our expert guides will discuss the flora and fauna, as well as the ancient and recent history of the region.
A delicious lunch awaits
Our next stop is our lunch destination, right in the heart of the Blue Mountains at the Katoomba Golf Club. Enjoy a beautiful two course lunch with a variety of options for starter and main course, with tea and coffee also provided (BAT tour). There is a licensed bar for anyone wishing to purchase other beverages. Alternatively, you can purchase your own lunch at the couple of café options (BATNM tour).
Scenic Rail and Scenic Cableway
Next, we visit the Scenic World Attractions and have the opportunity to enjoy the rides (own expense). Here, you’ll have amazing views of the famous Three Sisters, the magnificent Katoomba Falls, Mt Solitary and the near endless vista of the Jamison Valley. We will quietly glide down into the valley floor aboard the steepest aerial cable car in Australia! Our journey takes us on a 545 metre ride into the World Heritage Listed rainforest of the Jamison Valley. On arrival, take a stroll along the walkway through towering Jurassic rainforest, and refresh both your spirit and soul. We ascend back to the ridgetop via the steepest incline railway in the world!
Sparkling wine to toast the day
In the afternoon, we travel to a scenic location for our final stop and enjoy a glass of chilled sparkling wine or orange juice to toast the fantastic experience in the Blue Mountains. The views from this area are simply stunning as we scan across the Jamison Valley while the afternoon sunset colours provide a great finish. We then depart the mountains and return to the city to arrive back at your hotel approximately 4:30 - 5:00pm.
